Lead : GREENSBORO, NC (November 16, 2009) – Mack Trucks, Inc. diesel engines have been certified by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the California Air Resources Board to meet the near-zero emissions standards which take effect in January 2010. The Mack MP7 and MP8 engines are now officially recognized to meet the strictest diesel emissions standards in the world. The EPA certification was issued today, and the CARB certification on November 10th.

Lead : GREENSBORO, NC (October 30, 2009) – Mack Trucks, Inc. has received three additional delivery orders for MACK® Vision™ Elite model tractors from the U.S. Army TACOM Life Cycle Management Command. The orders are part of a three-year contract for heavy-duty tractors, trailers and spare parts. The Army has the ability under this contract to order additional trucks from Mack. Orders received under this contract since October 2008 total $20.2 million. Other recent orders for the Army under separate contracts total $4.88 million.
